An afternoon walk round school

Having a spare few minutes this afternoon, I decided to have a quick look around the classes and I was very pleased with what I saw, both in terms of the quality of the learning offered by the teaching staff and the interest and engagement of the children.
Years 2 and 3 were finding out about mountains in Europe. Taylor remembered that Mount Vesuvius is a volcano in Italy.

Kingfishers proved that light travels in a straight line. We think that Joshua would make a good teacher.

Year 1 were dancing like stars. They showed me their finished dance, which was beautiful. And Reception were finding things out in the the library. They ended with a story.

And I took a photo of our Festivals of Light display before we take it down.
